New Wave Libations and The Open Road to Host Non-Alcoholic Pride Celebration

New Wave Libations and The Open Road will hold a much-anticipated non-alcoholic Pride Gala on Friday, June 21 at Sunken Bus Studios on Babcock Boulevard. Net proceeds from the gala will benefit True T PGH, the Pittsburgh Equality Center, and the Three Rivers Business Alliance Foundation.

“We are dedicated to inclusive spaces in every aspect of our businesses. This Gala is not just a celebration, it is an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to support one another, support valuable non-profits, and contribute to the well-being of the community in a safe space without alcohol,” said Heather Somerville, Founder of New Wave Libations.

The Gala is being sponsored in part by Colorful Voices, Aids Free Pittsburgh, PFLAG Pittsburgh, Topaz Thimble, 5801 Video Lounge, Giesen Wines, Free Spirits, Amethyst Spirits, Parch Spirits and Cocktails, Teetotal Initiative and RSRV Collective. Partners for the event include Pittsburgh City Paper, Maya Lovro Photography, Two Frays Brewery, Abstinence Spirits, and All The Bitter.

The evening promises an unforgettable experience, featuring heavy hor d’oeuvres, dancing, performances, fundraising opportunities, and a joyous atmosphere filled with unity and acceptance. Featuring music by Rojo and performance by Dixie Surewood.

Tickets include admission, catering, one specialty drink, entertainment, and an unforgettable evening. A non-alcoholic cash bar will be available with tastes from seven non-alc brands, including a local favorite: Two Frays Brewing.
