How about an affirming Thanksgiving meal?

Request a meal or sign up to volunteer!

The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by coming together as a community for a day filled with love, gratitude, and delicious food? TransYouniting invites you to the 8th Annual TRANSgiving, an inclusive and affirming Thanksgiving event taking place on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, at the QMNTY Center (525 E Ohio St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212).

This cherished annual tradition provides opportunities for folks in the transgender, nonbinary, and broader TLGBQIA+ communities to enjoy a warm meal, connect with others, and experience the joy of community care. Whether you’re looking to request a meal, join the sit-down dinner, or volunteer your time, there’s a place for everyone at TRANSgiving.

Event Highlights

🦃 Home-Cooked Meals: Meals are available for pickup or delivery from 1 PM to 8 PM. Register by Wednesday, November 27th, to secure your meal.

🍽️ Sit-Down Dinner: Enjoy a communal meal from 2 PM to 6 PM. Seating is limited, so register early!

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities: Make TRANSgiving unforgettable by giving back. Volunteers are needed for roles including:

  • Food Servers
  • Set-Up and Breakdown Crew

Volunteer shifts run between 12 PM and 9 PM, and all helpers will be treated to a free meal as a thank-you for their generosity.

At its heart, TRANSgiving is about community care and collective joy. Whether you join for a meal, volunteer your time, or simply stop by to connect, you’ll be part of a meaningful tradition that centers love and solidarity within the TLGBQIA+ community.
