Faces & Places: Transgender Day of Remembrance

TransYouniting hosted a Transgender Day of Remembrance service on Sunday at the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation.

Honor our unknown dead,

We love and honor you who have died that we do not know.
Our Trans siblings whose names and faces remain hidden from us.

Your light burns too bright for those who chose to live in darkness.
You come from a lineage whose inheritance is liberation.
A path which you walked just by existing.
A path you forged will never end.

As each new generation will continue your legacy,
we hope you find joy and peace with our ancestors.
