Faces & Places: Renaissance City Choir’s ‘Follow Our Yellow Brick Road’ Concert

On a dazzling weekend in East Liberty, the Renaissance City Choir lit up the stage — and our queer hearts — with their cabaret concert Follow Our Yellow Brick Road. A kaleidoscope of Broadway brilliance and queer affirmation, this enchanting performance brought the worlds of The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked to life with soaring vocals, heartfelt solos, and community-rooted joy. As Pittsburgh’s only LGBTQIA+ choral ensemble, RCC celebrated identity, resilience, and queer magic with every note.
