WTF is Homocoming?

• a celebration of “school spirit,” but where Harold’s and Maude’s are the “school.” Think classic homecoming events — bonfire, pep rally, carnival games, cotton candy, etc.
• a fundraiser for Harold’s to help with operating costs and repairs.
• a celebration of queer joy & a chance for folx to reclaim “school spirit” as their queer authentic selves & without the drama of highschool/college vibes.
• a silly fun time.

What’s the dress code?

Think less homecoming dance and more homecoming rally! you don’t have to dress like a cheerleader or anything, but if you feel like it, go for it!

What’s our mascot? Thank you for asking!

It is, of course, a bootleg Grimace (or maybe a purple potato?) who is most at home sitting regally atop McYinzy, our dear fish son.

We’re looking for members of our Spirit Team, aka volunteers, to help with the event! The Spirit Team will get into the event FREE! If you have experience running carnival games, making cotton candy, leading pep rallies, making popcorn, taking tickets, we would love your help! Get in our Discord server and shout out!
