On June 27, 28, & 29, PRIDE is coming to Hazelwood for the first time!
The weekend will kick off with a “First Fri-gay” event hosted by Offroute Art at the Hazelwood Brew House. From 6 to 10 pm, a handful of Offroute artists will be showcasing their work, with a live performance from the band Lez Paul at 7:30 pm.
Moving into Saturday, Community Kitchen PGH will be hosting a “Grillin with Pride” ticketed BBQ class at their facility starting at 11:30 am — this event is FREE, but you must RSVP at the link in our bio!
After class, the party moves back to the brew house for 2 full days of drag performances, dancing, vendors, community groups, food, and lots of PRIDE. Saturday’s celebrations will begin at 3 pm with Pittsburgh’s finest queens from S&S Productions. And Sunday’s “Family Day” will kick off at noon and will feature all of Saturday’s excitement, plus face painting, drag story time, and a performance and class from 412 Step!
But the party still isn’t over! At 5:30 pm on Sunday, S&S will lead a parade over to the Hazelwood Green South Porch for more fun and dancing at a foam party to close out the weekend!
