On behalf of PFLAG Pittsburgh, Alicyn will offer a 90-minute presentation with an additional 30 minutes for Q&A. This presentation is based on training typically provided to health care professionals, with a particular focus on understanding the scientific, peer-reviewed evidence to better enable participants to combat misinformation and disinformation.

UNDERSTAND THE SCIENCE – COMBAT MISINFORMATION 

This session will be presented in person in Pittsburgh and virtually for attendees across the state. It is intended for parents, advocates, and allies of transgender, nonbinary, and other gender diverse youth. Registration is required. Specific details will be provided to registered attendees.

PRESENTATION IN PERSON (PITTSBURGH) AND VIRTUAL

Talking points will also be provided to enable participants to share key points and spread the word, especially at the upcoming Pride events across Pennsylvania. After a $225 million unopposed anti-trans propaganda campaign, it is vital that we reclaim the narrative and set the record straight about trans youth, and we need every one of you to help us.
