This special anniversary gala will honor the people, programs, and progress that have shaped two decades of advocacy and community-building while looking ahead to the future we’re creating together.

Founded in 2005 and formally established in 2012, the Washington County Gay Straight Alliance, Inc. has spent two decades:

• Creating safe, inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth, adults, and families

• Providing support, education, and outreach to promote acceptance

• Hosting community events like game nights, peer support groups, and youth programming

• Launching initiatives like the Oral Histories Project, preserving LGBTQIA+ stories for future generations

• Connecting community members to vital resources, including legal aid, recovery support, and advocacy tools
