Sixth Presbyterian Church advocates for equal rights and equal rites for all God’s children. Since 1997, Sixth has actively supported the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people into the whole life and ministry of the church, which means it unites us in marriage, platforms us into positions of congregational leadership, affirms us from the pulpit, amplifies our voices in Christian worship, and marches alongside us in the streets. Sixth doesn’t just tolerate or welcome us: it IS us.
