The Qrew Team is an LGBTQ and Ally team that trains and competes in Three Rivers Rowing Association’s Summer Rowing League. Each team has 12 members. We row, we drink, we eat and we socialize. It’s a great way to meet awesome people and enjoy the rivers of Pittsburgh in a unique way. There are 2 session a year of Qrew. The first runs from the end of May until late July and the second runs from late July to late September. Each session has 9 practices. The FACTS about the Summer Rowing League: *No rowing experience necessary! *Nine weeks of rowing *Practice is once a week *Groups have about 12 people (need to make sure at least 8 people show up each week in order to go out). *After each practice there is an included cookout with burgers (veggie and meat), hot dogs, chips, beer, and soft drinks. *At the end of the session, there is an opportunity to participate in a local race against the other teams and drink more beer & socialize! *Cost is $200 per person for the entire session. There is $50 discount for active students and a $100 discount for TRRA members. This fee covers all practices.
