Kink and Draw — An exhibition of queer figurative work from the Pittsburgh community class and artist invitational showcasing 2D representation work focusing on kink and the queer body.

This exhibition servers to showcase the regional talent alongside established artists working in the diverse themes of queer figurative art and be the opening celebration of Pittsburgh’s Leather-Fetish weekend.

Works focus on the physical elements of drawing, paint, and collage with themes of queer/kink identity and the human form.

The mission of the exhibition is to explore, engage the community, and share the queer narratives through figurative visual representation.

Location: Redfishbowl Studios — 4327 Butler Street, Lawrenceville

Friday, October 3rd
Doors open at 6pm
Steel City Fetish Con Meet & Greet at 9pm

Pittsburgh Leather Pride and Steel City Fetish Con is a leader in the Pittsburgh fetish/kink community. It aims to provide wide-ranging educational programs, collaborative artistic opportunities, and strengthening the queer fetish community through representation and visibility.

Looking for a chance to exhibit an sell those sketches you’ve got piled up? Here’s your chance 🙂

Art must be submitted by September 21st and delivered by September 30th.

Two pieces per artist, dimensions no larger than 30”x40” in size.

All artists must submit a photo and bio to clint.fisher12@gmail.com concurrently with delivery/shipment of art.

Works can be shipping or dropped-off at: 4113 Butler Street Floor 2, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.

All artists must include a return, pre-paid shipping label for any unsold art.
