Here are the rules for the space, in collaboration with our venue’s policy:

Sweet Escape Play Party is an 18+ event. 

CONSENT IS REQUIRED

Absolutely no photo or video in any common or play spaces.

Face Masks – While it is not mandatory outside of the mask-required Playroom and not always possible during specific kinds of play, wearing a high-quality face mask is highly encouraged in all spaces—especially public spaces. We will have high-quality masks available at check in as well as other places in the club.

No Alcohol – This is an alcohol-free event, if you are under the influence of any drug, you will be expected to inform all play partners so they can make the decision whether to consent.

Smoking/vaping is only permitted on the roof.

Treat each other and our venue with respect. Discriminatory behavior may lead to expulsion from Sweet Escape without refund and it may result in a ban from future events.

In the event of an emergency, all play stops until otherwise noted. Sweet Escape and Club Pittsburgh staff will work together to decide when emergency services need to be called.

ACAB – Please DO NOT call emergency services unless directly asked by an organizer or medic in order to protect the privacy of the attendees.

• No firearms or knives, or toys that look like firearms or knives.

• No discussion of pedophilia, bestiality, and necrophilia. These topics are not permitted for discussion or demo at Sweet Escape. Consent is key and beings in these categories cannot consent.

Contact Tracing: We require all attendees, performers, staff, and volunteers to take a COVID test the day of the event. Additionally, we ask that you test five days after the event and let us know if you test positive either by emailing us at sweetescapeplayparty@gmail.com, or messaging us on our Instagram (@sweetescapeplayparty). We will have some rapid tests available at the event for you to take home if you need one for post-event testing and/or if you are not able to test before coming to the event.
