Signal Otter Films and Dysphoria Dimes are showing the Pittsburgh premiere of Chris Hale’s new short film K-Hole at Roboto on May 7th. Doors at 7. Show at 7:30.
With an original score by Willow Ramsay and starring Nelly Connor and Anushka Abraham, K-Hole (2025) is about a mid-20s trans sex worker, Khloe, searching for her missing best friend, Sara, in a drug-fueled haze of friends and clients.
Additionally, we will be screening Lesbian Vampire Seeking Jewish Lover (2025) directed by Chris Hale alongside performances by Maxelle Talena and Nelly Connor. We will also be showing these shorts by local filmmakers: They’re Gonna Love You (2024) directed by B Kleymeyer, Nail Polish (2026) directed by Sea Sombar, and Day in the Life of a Freelance Photographer in Kansas City pt. 1 (2022) directed by Lucie Cartwright.
