We wanted to show QUEER AS PUNK (Yiwhen Chen, 2025) at our last festival, but ran out of room. Now we are joined by JADED and AQUARIUS to finally show it!

The documentary follows Malaysian trans man Faris and his punk band Shhh— Diam as they celebrate free expression and queer identity in a country that legally limits the rights of its LGBTQ+ citizens.

We are having a free screening on Saturday, April 11th, at 11 AM in the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium.
Followed by a Q&A with Pitt’s AQUARIUS (Alliance of Queer Underrepresented Asians in Recognition of Intersectionality to Uphold Solidarity).
