I (Carrie 🌺) am so excited for the Pittsburgh debut of HOT TAKE — we have long shared similar tastes in wonky funky fried disco and boogie and soulful house (a dollar bin hates to see us coming!!!) and we have played b2b many a time, notably opening for both Moodymann and Toribio in Cleveland at crobar and playing the Cent’s Pizza Anniversary parties… come early for some downtempo diva business from myself before our special guest takes the reigns on the dance floor and *brushes hair behind my ear* I will also be celebrating my birthday so I’d love some friends to come boogie with us!!!
