A View From Appalachia: Mutual Aid in Conversation — Reading Group

April 8 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

What does it take to meet our needs together as a community? In this 3-week reading group and workshop, we will discuss the 2020 version of Mutual Aid by Dean Spade, which covers everything from histories of community projects to handling interpersonal conflict within groups. We also acknowledge the legacy of mutual aid in Appalachia and hope to connect with those more energized than ever to be more active in the ways they can.

The book is available online for free, blessed by the author, you can read it here:
