5 Dead, 18 Injured in Shooting at Colorado Springs LGBTQ Club

A mass shooting at a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub has left five dead and 18 injured.

The shooting occurred around 11:50 pm at Club Q in Colorado Springs on Academy Boulevard, an LGBTQ nightclub. The shooter, identified by Colorado Springs Police as 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich, was subdued by two patrons of the Club and arrested by police within 10 minutes. Club Q posted the following statement on their social media.

Anderson Lee Aldrich had previously by arrested for bomb threats in 2021 according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
