SUMMARY:Loud Mouth: A Monthly Poetry Reading
DESCRIPTION:November’s poetry night at the Soft Spot is open mic only! \nI’ve provided three prompts: \n1.) The act of becoming a God or Saint of something. Either your own experience of that becoming or bearing witness to another person’s transformation to God/Saint. \n2.) Title the poem “What To Do When It’s Alive Outside and You Are Elsewhere.” \n3.) Write a poem or prose piece about going through a box of someone else’s belongings that you’ve become responsible for. This can be a family member\, friend\, or stranger\, and it can be any circumstance. \nPlease bring a piece inspired by any of these prompts (or all three! Up to six minutes to share!). All artists welcome even though this is a sapphic space. I hope to see you there. 💕 \nThursday\, November 5th\n6:30pm-8:45pm \nKindness mandatory\, trigger warnings not—\nPoetry possesses power.
