SUMMARY:Spring Clothing Swap + Mending Table
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our spring clothing swap! It will be held on Saturday\, April 11th\, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh East Liberty\, located at 130 S. Whitfield St.\, Meeting Room 3. It is free to attend and open to all; remaining items will be donated to East End Community Thrift on Penn Ave. in Garfield. Like our previous swap we will also have a mending table with basic materials (scissors\, sewing needles\, and thread) if you find that any of your “new” items need a little TLC. Mending will be a self-guided activity; instruction will not be given. \nYou are welcome to bring clothing\, shoes\, and accessories to the swap\, but please make sure they are clean and in good\, wearable condition (e.g. functioning zippers\, no missing buttons). If you have a lot of items to swap\, we ask that you arrive early (around 10:30a.m.) so that we can be sure to have everything set out in time.
