Less is often more—but it’s much more when the Liberty Avenue Saloon presents its no-hassle formula for ending the old year: No cover and no reservations are needed to celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Saloon. Just show up; the bar will provide the hats, noisemakers and party supplies. Or drop in on Christmas Eve at 11pm on your way home from Aunt Ida’s to soothe those rattled nerves. The Saloon is closed on Christmas Day but is open for early-bird dinner specials every Monday through Friday. And here’s something new: Spend Sundays at the Saloon enjoying soft background music and a complimentary buffet from 11am ’til 5pm. The bar even has all the mixings for a special Bloody Mary beginning at 1pm. How’s that for relaxing?
