World AIDS Day 2024: Remember the Time

This event, taking place on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Shepherd Wellness Community, will feature guest speakers Clarisse Jordan, author and HIV community activist; Dr. Linda Frank, professor at the University of Pittsburgh and principal investigator for the MidAtlantic AIDS Education & Training Center; and Dr. Charles Rinaldo, professor at the University of Pittsburgh and founder and principal investigator of the Pitt Men’s Study. There also will be food, performances, and giveaways.

World AIDS Day 2024: Remember the Time will honor the memory of those we have lost to AIDS as well as long-term survivors and those living with or impacted by the disease. We also will recognize the scientific achievements that have made HIV a disease that can be treated and prevented.
