About Dreams of Hope

The Dreams of Hope theatriQ performance ensemble (ages 13-26) works with professional artists to create original work addressing LGBTQA+ themes. They engage and educate audiences through performances and hands-on workshops. Every year the ensemble creates and performs original theater, visual art, and music exploring LGBTQA+ themes.

In the workshops, we will be holding space to learn about, discuss, and connect to a plethora of topics pertaining to theater and performing arts. (Things like history of queer art and culture, art and social justice, foundations of theatre, and improv!)

these workshops are a great way to learn, play, and create, together! We invite you to join us this fall as we ramp up to a spring focused on YOU telling stories through a mainstage production written, produced, and performed by a cohort of young, queer creatives ages 13-26.

theatriQ workshops will run October-December on Wednesdays 5:30-8pm at KST Alloy Studios 5530 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
