SUMMARY:Lucy Chen: Dressed in Red
DESCRIPTION:Femininity. Sexuality. Perception. Expectation. Dressed in Red explores these ideas and our shifting self and social identities through a blend of movement and video performance. Inspired by classical Chinese dance and contemporary movement\, Dressed in Red reflects on Lucy’s experience of the complex relationship between how we see ourselves\, how we present ourselves\, and how others see us. \nUtilizing video media and a costume that transforms throughout the performance\, the dancers explore self-expression and connection/tension with their communities\, within the lens of what it means to be feminine. Audiences witness an evolving narrative of feminine identity and are encouraged to contemplate their own experiences with their image and how we perform our gender and sexuality. \nFriday & Saturday\, April 3 – 4\, 2026\n7:30pm – 9:00pm (including post-show discussion) \nKST’s Alloy Studios | 5530 Penn Ave.\nPay What Moves You: $15 – $30 \nPhoto Credit: Lucy Chen

DESCRIPTION:Grab your seat for The Last Supper: A Blasphemous Cabaret. SUMMARY:TWIRL
DESCRIPTION:THE TWIRL MUST GO ON 🌪️ After being on hold indefinitely due to venue changes\, your favorite dance party for house music in Pittsburgh is once again ready for takeoff. \nOn Saturday\, April 4th\, TWIRL will be serving all of the drama and ferocity the Steel City has grown to love\, at a new location\, Bottlerocket Social Hall🚀 \nFollowing the closure of Cobra\, TWIRL’s previous residence\, this beloved\, retro-inspired\, kitschy venue in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood is the perfect place to make a landing for our freaky little house music function. 🏡 \nFor an occasion such as this\, we have no choice but to bring it! That’s why we’ve summoned two of the most iconic house heads in the underground dance music scene to come turn the club out\, severely! 💅🏽 \nLINEUP 🎧 \n✪ Mark Holcomb (NYC) A familiar face across Brooklyn and Manhattan’s queer club circuit\, Mark has brought his sharp\, feel-good energy to parties The Carry Nation and HARDER along with appearances at Good Room\, ANIMAL\, Paragon\, H0L0\, and now\, TWIRL. Mark’s sound sits at the intersection of pop\, disco\, and house infused with the kind of emotional immediacy and playful nostalgia that keep dancers locked in from start to finish. \n✪ B_X_R_N_X_R_D (DC) Bernard Farley is a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist and performer with an electronic music career spanning 20 years and covering genres from techno and electronic pop to ambient and experimental music. As B_X_R_N_X_R_D\, his music blurs the line between DJing and live performance\, using a suite of Roland drum machines\, synths\, and FX to create mesmerizing and intricate sonic journeys. While we might be in Twirlville\, this set will undoubtedly send TWIRL into another dimension. \n✪ ROJO (PGH) Darling DJ\, event curator\, and community leader\, ROJO has carved a permanent place in Pittsburgh nightlife with their infectious\, funk-infused sound. With residencies at Cobra\, Brillobox\, and 5801\, they blend house\, disco\, and electronic grooves that leave crowds craving more. Beyond the booth\, ROJO champions QBIPOC-affirming dance parties through their Twirlville collective\, producing “TWIRL” and “Hot Stuff Disco.” \nDOORS 🚪\nDoors open at 8:30pm.\nMusic starts pumping at 9:00pm.\nThe club closes at 2:00am. \nTICKETS 🎟️\nTickets are available now via Botterrocket’s online ticketing platform\, Opendate. Presale tickets can be snatched for just $10. For anyone on the fence (Although\, why would you be?) a number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $15.\nhttps://app.opendate.io/e/twirl-april-04-2026-679970 \n📋📋📋\nBrought to you by Twirlville\, a QBIPOC-affirming music + events collective\, TWIRL isn’t just a dance party. It’s a tribute to house music\, underground dance culture and its roots. Our function gives BIPOC\, LGBTQ+ individuals\, and allies a sacred space for self expression\, freedom of movement\, and flamboyance. NO hate. NO judgement. NO BS on our dance floor.
