A picnic-style mixer that begins with intentional, meaningful, and funny questions to get people past the awkward small talk and into real connections!

🎉 Join Us for an afternoon of Speed Friending with other lovely women and nonbinary souls 🎉

We will be at Frick Park from 2 PM to 5 PM with a circle of picnic blankets in the shade. Feel free to bring some food or drinks to share.

Feel free to stop by whenever you can make it and make a new friend! We are here for the connections!

🕰️ How Speed Friending Works (with a Dash of Consent) 🕰️

You can join the speedfriending picnic circle at any time and jump out if you need to as well. Our skilled host will guide you to your spot, where they’ll introduce thought-provoking questions to the entire group.

You and the person across from you will have a thrilling five to ten minutes to delve into each question before rotating to meet a new intriguing soul. It’s an effortless way to uncover the real you, to embrace honesty, weirdness, and, yes, even practice a bit of awkwardness. This safe and empowering environment encourages everyone to speak authentically and connect with like-minded individuals.

We do not ask for phone numbers in this space. We want people to feel empowered to be themselves at this event and not feel pressured into any type of connection. At the end of the event, we will provide folks with note cards to offer those they wish to connect with and with no expectations.
