Ratzon Hitbodedut Practice

October 22 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

🌳 Ratzon Hitbodedut Practice
📅 Sundays in October | 8-9 AM ET
📍Frick Park (Fountain near Environmental Center – 2005 Beechwood Blvd.)

We will meet between 8 and 8:15 am Sundays at the fountain near the Environmental Center. After a quick gathering to check in and set intention, we’ll disperse for private prayer and meditation in the woods. No prior experience or knowledge necessary. Those who wish will gather again around 8:45 to land together and launch into our week.

Meeting place, nearby walkways, and public bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Limited ASL (no certified interpreter) available. Masking welcome but not required outside.

A little background – Hitbodedut translates from Hebrew as seclusion or solitude. Rebbe Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810) popularized the term to refer to an unstructured, spontaneous form of prayer and meditation in fields and forests as a way to establish a close, personal relationship with the divine.
