The fight for equality and liberation is far from over!!

As stated previously there were several speakers coming to speak against the Trans community and this one is definitely PERSONAL. Michael Knowles has publicly spoken on the WANT for the eradication of Trans Lives. The fact that even in this climate people are comfortable hearing harmful rhetoric geared towards the persecution of HUMAN LIVES is bewildering but no longer surprising. We can’t back down and we can’t fight fire with fire but WE CAN BE HEARD!! LIFT EVERY VOICE on April 18th in solidarity to protect Trans Lives. Over 400+ bills have been sent into legislation and most if not all of those bills are geared toward the oppression and silencing of LGBTQIA+ voices.

To that we say NOT TODAY MICHAEL!!!

We understand that everyone may not be able to attend or be with us physically as we stand up for the rights of not only our Pitt Trans student community but the Trans community as a whole, but there are always other ways to support.
