Our next installation of Queerness & Nature is here!!
Join artists & educators Ginger Brooks Takahashi (@brookstakahashi), Win Nunley (@windafire), and Nsai Temko (@nsaitemko) on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 10:45 a.m. They will guide a nature walk inspired by the Carnegie Museum of Art exhibition Widening the Lens: Photography, Ecology, and the Contemporary Landscape.
This guided tour centers collective knowledge sharing as a practice to experience our bodies outside of binaries and in relationship to the landscape.
The walk will begin in the Sculpture Court, at the back of the museum. From there, we will journey to the Schenley Park visitor center.
Q&N is a mutually creative, intergenerational, sober space that centers queerness and kinship with nature.
🎟️ Head to the link in our bio to register for this event.
Other things to know: The Sculpture Court is by the parking lot in the back of the museum. The walk will feature uneven ground and elevation changes, please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring water and a journal, if you’d like! Our rain date is Sept 15th.
