It’s here, it’s queer, it’s Queer Splash! As community pools around Pittsburgh open for the season, Hugh Lane is preparing to create safe swimming spaces for LGBTQ+ community members of all ages at Highland Park Pool, Thursdays from 4 P.M. to 7:45 P.M.

Join us there starting next Thursday, 6/22/23, for the first Queer Splash! Note that the adult-only lap swim begins at 7 P.M., so make sure to bring younger swimmers earlier.

Additionally – we know that finding bathing suits that feel affirming can be hard, especially for our transgender and nonbinary community members. Many of our staff at Hugh Lane have lived that experience, and we’re happy to offer some suggestions for places to find comfortable swimsuits!
