DESCRIPTION:The PA Office of Homeland Security\, in partnership with the Governor’s Advisory Commission on LGBTQ Affairs\, is offering a three-part learning series to organization leaders\, security personnel\, and members of the LGBTQI+ community. \nTopics in Session 2 will include: \n\nEstablishing an Emergency Plan\nConducting threat assessments\, reviewing the history of PA Pride events\nThe Power of Hello – See Something/Say Something\n\nThis is the second session of a series of three covering a variety of topics to help to ensure your 2026 Pride events is a safe and memorable experience. \nSession three will be held in-person in Harrisburg\, with an option of joining virtually\, on May 7\, 2026 and will include a scenario-based tabletop exercise practicing the emergency plans developed in the first two sessions. Registrations for that training will be opening soon!
