DESCRIPTION:Grab a tube and let’s hit the river! It’s time for the 4th Annual Big Gay River Float! \nStart time is 11:00am at Smithton Beach Boat Launch in Smithton\, PA. Come early to give yourself time to jockey cars\, blow up your tubes\, and crack open a cold one. We will launch at 12:30pm sharp and adventure our way down to Cedar Creek Park Boat Launch in Belle Vernon\, PA. \nFloat time is typically 3 to 4 hours depending on river conditions. \nBringing a friend or friends is strongly encouraged! You’ll want to find a manageable group to stick with on the river. \nImportant things to note: You are responsible for providing your own transportation and floatation device. \nThis is a free public LGBTQ+ event and will be an inclusive\, welcoming\, and safe environment for all. \n**The rain date for this event will be Sunday\, August 9th\, with the same time frame. \nPlease keep an eye on the event discussion posts\, as weather\, river conditions\, and event details may require updates or changes. We are working to make this year’s float run even more smoothly and help get more people on the water.
