Join us 10/4 at the Soft Spot for a FREE hour-long workshop on improving your phone hygiene and digital safety. Stick around afterward to apply what you’ve learned and cowork your way through it with friends. Taught by the talented Abigail LP 💚 \nBeginner-friendly\, free\, and no registration needed. See ya then! \nLearn about the surveillance risks associated with phone data and how to lock down your device\, helping to protect it from unauthorized access and searches. After the workshop\, you are invited to stay and cowork implementing the things you learned. \nTeacher Bio\nAbaigail LP (they/them) is a local activist\, artist\, and educator. They are the program manager for the Digital Security Training Team at Freedom of the Press Foundation and like to share their knowledge with the community in their free time. \nThey also produce art with Arts Collaborative Folklab\, participate in community organizing\, and offer training ona. range of topics including digital security\, using art as activism\, and understanding antisemitism through an anti-colonial lens. If they’re not doing any of that\, they are probably biking or cuddling a cat.
