National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day 2

February 7 @ 3:00 pm - 9:30 pm

This event is a two-day event where we will be kicking off an awareness campaign highlighting the impact HIV/AIDS on women in Allegheny County. In this event, we will speak about data, community needs, and community purpose.

The purpose of this day is to foster a sense of connection, promote sharing, and appreciate the diverse voices within our community. We invite guests to come and listen to personal testimonies from individuals within our community. This event serves as an opportunity to reflect on the conversations and information that were shared the day before. Additionally, after community members have shared their experiences, we will facilitate a “Mini-Ball” experience, inviting members of the Pittsburgh Ballroom Community to come together. This inclusive event welcomes everyone to attend and participate. We hope that through this day of connection and celebration, we can strengthen bonds within our community and promote unity and understanding.
