Injection Training and Wound Care

If you or someone you know uses injectable drugs, you don’t want to miss this! ?

Join Allegheny Reproductive Health Center, in partnership with the Center for Civil Rights and Racial Justice @ Pitt Law and Hill District Consensus Group, for our 1st injection training! Open to all! Learn from our amazing staff proper safety and techniques.

This workshop is to teach how to do at-home intramuscular or subcutaneous hormone injections and wound care for post-surgery. This workshop is trans-centered for HRT injections, but also open to people who want to learn to do their own depo-provera injections or any other IM/subq medication. We will also provide a tutorial on wound care for post-surgery wound recovery.

PLEASE NOTE: The event has a max # of participants we will cap attendance at. You will receive an email confirming your registration or waitlist. If you can no longer attend the event please let us know so we can open up a spot for someone on the waitlist. If you are unable to attend this event, don’t worry! We plan on having future trainings after this one.
