BASICALLY A FESTIVAL! Start hassling your friends to make those travel plans – the next Pittsburgh Honcho has dialed up to one of those otherworldly queer weekends as we team up with our friends at Jellyfish for a back-to-back FRI/SAT slammer.
HONCHO SATURDAY: We’re ready to welcome Seattle’s SHARLESE and Detroit’s JEFFREY SFIRE to Hot Mass for about as perfect a pairing as it gets. Sharlese thrives on the unexpected, blending genres from electro to EBM, Italo to techno in her dark, intricate sets. Dance floors worldwide have experienced her moody performances that ricochet between seductive beats and uplifting synth patterns. Her deep respect and knowledge for music shine through from her 17 years at Seattle’s legendary KEXP, where she produces for The Afternoon Show and hosts Mechanical Breakdown, spotlighting underground, boundary-pushing music.
Warming up the first half of the night is long-time fam from Detroit, JEFFREY SFIRE. You know the Sfire anthems, the legendary DJ sets, the infamous Club Toilet. You don’t need us to explain anymore.
This is a sellout weekend, so grab your tickets and lock in now.
JELLYFISH FRIDAY: What a way to start the weekend. Jellyfish has absolutely stacked Certain Death II with this absurd lineup of queer fam from all over the musical spectrum:
