welcome to the hen haus!
this is a monthly chicken dinner where we raise a little cash for our community organizations who are offering services & bringing awareness to the issues facing our LGBTQI+ family.
first up is: true t pgh
true t pgh is pittsburgh’s home for culture, care, and creativity – centering black & brown LGBTQIA+ communities and rooted in ballroom. they build radically inclusive spaces where authenticity, joy, and liberation are expected. your gift powers direct services, artist-led spaces, and safer, more connected communities.
what you can expect:
good company and a sunday supper (aka family style feast) featuring:
- pickles
- red lobster cheddar chive biscuits (gf)
- fancy butter
- big ass caesar salad
- house focaccia
- and a bunch of french fries
- sauces: ketchup, green sauce, red chimi, fancy mayo, molasses bbq, and franks
for the table:
- spice roasted quartered chickens
- butter beans
- garlic greens
- sweet potato and fennel gratin
- peanut-busted hot fudge parfait sundae
- ice cold DC and coke classics at the bar.

we are located at a warehouse called “the x factory” at 6901 lynn way, pittsburgh, pa 15208, on the 2nd floor.
when you arrive, you can park along mcpherson, murtland, or another adjacent side street.
do not park anyone in. do not park in the loading dock.
gratuity is not reflected in the ticket price. if you’d like to show your appreciation to our staff, cash is preferred or you can digitally send a tip via our “staff gratuity” item in our store with any amount that suits you.
