Our chapter is organizing a packing session at the Pittsburgh Prison Book Project in honor of Harvey Milk Day on Monday, May 22, at 6:00 PM!
The Pittsburgh Prison Book Project, located at the Spartan Community Center of Hazelwood, is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that sends reading and educational materials to people incarcerated across Pennsylvania.
Harvey Milk was the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California, as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. He was assassinated on November 27, 1978, at the age of 48.
Space for this session is limited to 10 volunteers. Please RSVP to us at PAprideatwork@gmail.com. ✊️✊🏽✊🏿
