A Tea Dance and Drag Show benefitting the Queer Fam Fund.
Get into the gift of GIVING! PISSY returns from her 5-month drag sabbatical (she’s been writing a self-help book entitled “Help! Yourself?”) to host GIVING: A QFF Fundraiser this Sunday at P Town Bar.
To start us off, Huny is joined on the decks by New Orleans’s darling Phlegm from 5p-8p for the tea dance, followed by an XXXmas In July drag show featuring the talents of Soft Boy, Vicky, Andi, and Jackie. Twirl with special guest Phlegm from New Orleans and queen of PGH nightlife Huny for the tea dance from 5-8 and treat yourself to an XXX-Mas in July drag show afterward. Suggested $10 at the door goes directly to the fund.
WHAT IS THE QUEER FAM FUND?
QFF is a program built to financially support BIPOC and/or trans/nonbinary folks in their attendance of the locally-grown queer music festival known as Honcho Campout. The program (now in its 4th year) is operated by a special team in tandem with Campout and is almost entirely crowd-sourced. All funds go directly to covering recipients’ travel, meals, camping provisions, and ticket to the festival. We have been able to raise over 40k of the 50k necessary for success. Join us in securing the rest of the funds necessary to make this a reality!
