Join G4G Pittsburgh at the Teej Women’s Festival assisting the Bhutanese Community Association of Pittsburgh. BCAP’s Teej is focused on celebrating women’s good health and wellbeing. The festival encourages women and girls to come out, dance, eat, and feel relaxed and happy. The event also focuses on leadership development among women. Many participants come out in bright-colored saris and are adorned in their favorite ornaments. We will be performing a variety of volunteer tasks, which could include event set-up, assisting with food serving, helping with parking, assisting with sign-in tables, dishwashing, and event tear-down.
