Cherry Bomb was a monthly MoB residency that ran from June 2021 to May 2023 at Spirit. With an emphasis on electronic dance music from a Black perspective (house, techno, club, ballroom & more) and a mission to introduce Black queer and trans DJs from across the country to the Pittsburgh nightlife scene and vice-versa, Cherry Bomb brought a vibe, intention, and soundtrack to the city that was deeply lacking on a regular basis.

On March 29, 2025, after an almost 2 year hiatus, The MoB welcomes a superstar lineup of artists—Cherry Bomb veterans and newbies alike representing 5 cities across the US—to remind Pittsburgh of what the present (and future) of Black queer club music sounds like.
