Juneteenth x Pride is the theme for this month’s open mic night! 🎤 This event will take place at the Sycamore Grove Shelter in Highland Park starting at 5PM on Tuesday, June 20th. A $6 donation is encouraged for those who can give, as all those funds go towards our mutual aid program, specifically our project Trans-assiance where we supply our BIPOC TGNC siblings with gender-affirming necessities⚧️💖Everyone is welcome to turn up wit us. What is Trans-Assiance?

Trans-assiance is a gender-affirming resource distribution program led by BLAC. The project aims to establish a widespread environment that empowers the exploration of gender identity. The organization hosts a monthly open-mic styled social gathering with the venue, theme, and activities varying each time. A $6 donation is typically given upon entry and the funds are used to customize and distrbute gender-affirming care kits to local TGNC youth.
