Join us for our monthly Ratzon Anti-zionist Minyan (RAZM) Shabbat gathering, where we’ll also be celebrating the holiday of Purim.
Purim, which long predates zionism, can be an opportunity for us to think about resilience and survival — to experience queer, subversive joy as an act of resistance. And yet Purim and its primary narrative, as told through the Megillah, have also been used to justify acts of horrific zionist violence. We will grapple with this complexity, holding space for the necessity of both grief and joy in the face of past and present fascisms.
If you have any questions about the holiday, the service, or anything else, please reach out! We want you there and want to do whatever we can to make everyone as comfortable as possible.
