Join us on Saturday, June 17th from 2:00-3:00 PM in the CLP-Homewood Auditorium or online as we invite author Brian Broome, award-winning writer of Punch Me Up to the Gods: A Memoir. Brian will provide a presentation about his writing, his experiences as a queer Black man, and his relationship to Pittsburgh. The conversation will be followed by a Q&A, moderated by Pittsburgh actor and QBurgh correspondent Jason Shavers, for the audience to ask him questions about his body of work. The event will finish off with a book signing with local bookseller White Whale Bookstore, who will be providing copies of Brian’s book along with a selection of Pittsburgh-authored titles and LGBTQIA+ titles available for purchase.
