On Saturday, March 14, The MoB is pullin’ up to Club Pittsburgh for a late night creep. afterglow is THEE afters, bbs, and for the first one we got the best cunty femmes comin’ thru to play your favorite house tracks and club classics: ms. TIZA, HUNY XO, and one of our absolute favorite deejay/producers joining us from Detroit: Something Blue
This is our first time returning to this space since we sold out Hot Mass last June. Our friends at Mass have since changed venues, but we intend to maintain the expectations everyone will surely have walking in the door: an incredible sound system, top tier DJs, complimentary beverages, rave vibes, and a free and *safe* space for QTBIPOC & allies. Consider it handled.
11pm-6am. $20 early bird tix until 3/10, $25 after.
We reserve the right to turn anyone away at the door — vibes are key.
SOMETHING BLUE: Boasting a strong musical background and several years of working alongside legendary Detroit producers and DJs, something blue has been a force to be reckoned with since their DJ/producer journey began, using both their experience and passion for their city’s culture to curate special sonic experiences with the specific, unique, and alluring sounds of Detroit’s finest electronic and dance music productions.
HUNY XO is a DJ and event curator whose work in nightlife is rooted in exalting Black women & QTBIPOC communities. Beyond PGH, she has played events, clubs, raves, and festivals in NYC, LA, SF, Philly, Detroit, Puerto Vallarta, and CDMX. Referred to as a “rising star” by LA’s Muy Muy Limited and a “Pittsburgh staple” by Resident Advisor, her sets are best described as highly danceable and genre-defying: anything with a nasty beat and embedded in Blackness can get it.
MS. TIZA is a queer filipinx DJ breaking borders on the dance floor by creating inclusive spaces for people to feel good in their bodies and introducing diasporic music to global hits. —
Mostbeautifullest (aka The MoB) is a Black queer collective throwing events centering QTBIPOC. No homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, body-shaming, or bigotry of any kind will be tolerated. No violence, either (keep in mind that violence is not always physical). Any violation of these policies will result in you being escorted out immediately and potentially banned from MoB events going forward. If someone is making you uncomfortable or violating our policies, please alert staff immediately. We got you. Be respectful of our door babes, security, & bartendars – they’re our MVPs!
