Hidden Treasures: Robert Errett

Our friend, Robert Errett, is being honored as a Hidden Treasure on May 29, 2024, by the Westmoreland Diversity Coalition. Please register to come and celebrate him. He is a very active member of the Greensburg-Jeannette NAACP, PFLAG Greensburg, the Westmoreland LGBTQ Interfaith network, and so many other organizations.

Hidden Treasures is a community spotlight series featuring individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds whose work quietly impacts residents of Westmoreland County.

Robert Errett’s professional accomplishments are extensive, complemented by his reputation as a dedicated and dynamic community leader, as noted by his colleagues and peers. He is renowned for his unwavering commitment and boundless energy. His impactful advocacy for social justice resonates strongly, underscored by a plethora of accolades and engagements within various community organizations. These include but are not limited to the American Red Cross, where he serves as a Summer Series Grant-Writer, PFLAG of Westmoreland County, Welcoming Westmoreland, Voice of Westmoreland, NAACP Greensburg-Jeannette Chapter, Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra, Westmoreland Youth Symphony Orchestra, Seton Hill University Alumni Advisory Council, Western Pennsylvania Continuum of Care, Westmoreland County Housing Authority, among others. Robert’s contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Change-maker Award and the True Spirit Award.
